Indian traditional medicine distinguishes two forms of bronchial asthma. Periodic spasms of the bronchi (sudden attacks of dyspnea) – based on the mental nature of the disease (fears, acute mental shocks), if coughing and choking, then allergic nature. In cases where asthma is associated with food allergies, you should avoid appropriate products and anything that can trigger an attack – pollen, dusty books and carpets, animal hair, some chemicals, etc., consumption of shrimp, crabs, fish, eggs. In children, asthma has only a psychological cause. Psychological reasons include stress, fear, trauma, greed and greed. Asthma can be the result of a cold, congestion in the airways or hay fever, as well as excessive accumulation of mucus in the lungs, head, or stomach. Causes of asthma can be hereditary factors.
Regardless of the cause, in an asthmatic attack, it is important to immediately remove the bronchospasm and normalize breathing. During an attack, the patient should be released from a tight dress, fresh air should be brought in, hands and feet should be dipped in hot water, or mustards should be put on them, the heart area should be rubbed with a rag dipped in cold water with vinegar and salt (if there is no pulmonary disease), whiskey rub cologne. For asthma attacks, hot chest wraps are applied.
In Indian traditional medicine, the main method of the clinical treatment of asthma is emetic therapy. In milder cases, diet and phytotherapy are sufficient.
Lifestyle
Avoid cold air. It is necessary to quit smoking and drinking alcohol, it is necessary to keep warm and conduct active physical exercises that increase the body’s resistance (for example, you can use Strelnikova’s breathing exercises). Avoid baths after meals. You should not sleep much, especially during the day and after meals. Useful relaxing oil massage head, shoulders, chest, as well as the sea air and psychotherapy.
Power type
Refrain from cold and sour food. Discard most dairy products (especially cottage cheese and ghee), including cheeses. Avoid fermented foods and foods that cause water retention in the body, such as various pickles – cucumbers, tomatoes, herring. In some cases, you should not eat mushrooms, walnuts, peanuts and other nuts, as well as products cooked with yeast. Give up sugar, bananas. Sharply reduce the use of meat dishes and food containing starch. Avoiding food (peas, beans, cabbage, millet) should be avoided.
It should be separated from each other by eating and drinking. Drink better in 1-1,5 hours after meals. To quench your thirst with water not immediately, but gradually, in several stages.
Pears, apricots and apricot seeds themselves (maximum 9 g) are useful.
Useful grape juice. Blueberry tea is recommended. In many cases, fasting once a week helps.
